Before You Reserve

Thank you for choosing D. McCauley Creative Studio. We want every guest to have an exceptional experience. Please review the following policies before reserving your studio rental.

By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

​

Reservations & Payment

A signed rental agreement and payment are required to reserve your studio.

• Hourly rentals must be paid in full to secure your reservation.

• Studio subscriptions must remain current to schedule rental time.

• Rental time cannot be held without payment.​

​

Arrival & Rental Time

Your rental begins and ends at your scheduled reservation time.

Please include time for:

• Setup

• Hair & Makeup

• Client arrival

• Shooting

• Breakdown

• Cleanup

​

The studio must be returned to its original condition before your reservation ends.

Additional time will be billed when available.

​

Overtime

If your session extends beyond your reserved time and the schedule allows, overtime will be billed in 30-minute increments.

​

If another reservation follows yours, your session must end at your scheduled time.

​

Accessibility & Building Information

Please note that our studio is located on the third floor of the building.

• There is no elevator available.

• All guests must use the stairs to access the studio.

• Please plan accordingly when bringing equipment, rolling cases, props, or scheduling clients with mobility concerns.

Studio Spaces

Your reservation includes access only to the studio space you reserved unless otherwise arranged.

​

Guests & Occupancy

The individual booking the studio is responsible for everyone in their party throughout the duration of the rental.

For the comfort, safety, and preservation of the studio, occupancy limits are as follows:

 

Studio A

Maximum Occupancy: 5 People

 

Content Studio

Maximum Occupancy: 8 People

 

Occupancy includes the photographer, assistants, clients, hair and makeup artists, videographers, and any additional guests.

 

If your production requires additional people, please contact us prior to booking.

Building Access & Guest Escort Policy

To protect the security of the building, the studio, and all guests, all clients and visitors must be escorted by the renter at all times.

​

The building is secured and cannot be accessed without entry authorization. Guests are not able to enter the building or access the studio independently.

​

The renter is responsible for:

• Meeting all clients and guests at the building entrance.

• Escorting guests to and from the studio.

• Escorting any guest who leaves and returns during the rental.

• Meeting any guests who arrive after the session has already begun.

​

If a guest arrives after you have already entered the studio, you are responsible for returning downstairs to meet them and escort them to the studio.

​

Please do not provide building access codes or instruct guests to enter the building without you.

​

Failure to comply with this policy may result in the immediate termination of your rental without refund and may result in the loss of future studio rental privileges.

​

Please respect neighboring businesses within the building. We ask that all renters and guests remain inside the studio during their reservation unless entering or exiting the building. Loitering in hallways or common areas is not permitted.

​

Equipment & Props

Professional lighting equipment, seamless paper, furniture, and available props may be used during your rental unless otherwise noted.

​

Please:

• Handle all equipment with care.

• Return all equipment and furniture to its original location.

• Notify us immediately if anything becomes damaged.

​

Renters are financially responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.

​

Furniture

Furniture may be moved carefully during your session.

​

Please lift furniture when moving it and return everything to its original placement before leaving.

​

Do not drag furniture across the floors.

​

Seamless Paper

Reasonable use of seamless paper is included with your rental.

​

Excessive pulls, damaged paper, or unusually heavy usage may result in an additional replacement fee.

​

Cleaning

Please leave the studio in the same condition in which you found it.

​

This includes:

• Removing trash

• Returning furniture and equipment

• Cleaning spills

• Removing all personal belongings

​

A cleaning fee may be charged if excessive cleaning is required.

​

Food & Beverages

Light snacks and beverages are welcome.

​

Please use caution around furniture, equipment, seamless paper, and props.

​

Alcohol is not permitted without prior approval.

​

Smoking & Restricted Materials

Smoking, vaping, candles, incense, fog machines, glitter, confetti, smoke bombs, body oils, or similar materials are prohibited unless approved before your reservation.

​

Additional cleaning or damage fees may apply.

​

Music

Music is welcome.

​

Please keep the volume at a respectful level for neighboring businesses within the building.

​

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Studio rentals are non-refundable.

​

Reservations may be rescheduled one time with at least 72 hours' notice, subject to availability.

​

Cancellations made with less than 72 hours' notice are forfeited.

​

No-shows are non-refundable.

​

Weather

Because the studio is indoors, rentals continue regardless of weather unless the building becomes inaccessible or unsafe.

​

If the studio must close due to an emergency, your reservation will be rescheduled at no additional charge.

​

Photography & Content Creation

The studio may be used for photography, videography, podcasts, educational content, branding sessions, and commercial productions.

​

The renter is responsible for obtaining any permits, licenses, model releases, or permissions required for their production.

​

Liability

Renters assume responsibility for themselves, their guests, clients, equipment, and personal belongings during the rental period.

​

D. McCauley Creative Studio is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property, nor for injuries sustained during use of the facility except where required by law.

​

Right to Refuse Service

D. McCauley Creative Studio reserves the right to refuse service or terminate any reservation without refund if these policies are violated or if the safety of the studio, equipment, staff, building, or guests is compromised.

​

Repeated violations or serious misconduct may result in permanent loss of future studio rental privileges.
