If you’re feeling like your brand just doesn’t hit the way it used to, you’re not alone. Whether you’re a new entrepreneur or years into your journey, your brand needs to evolve with you. As a Louisville brand designer, I work with women entrepreneurs every day who know they’ve outgrown their visuals but don’t know where to start.
Here are 5 signs your brand needs a glow-up—and how to fix it:
1. Your visuals don’t match your vibe anymore
If your logo, colors, or website feel off or outdated, that’s a red flag. You’ve grown—your brand should reflect that evolution.
Fix it: Revisit your mission and values, and make sure your design matches the energy you want to give off. (Need help with this? I do that.)
2. You're inconsistent across platforms
One day it’s pink and cursive, the next it’s neutral and bold—it’s giving identity crisis.
Fix it: Create a brand style guide with set colors, fonts, and tone of voice so everything flows—from your website to your IG posts.
3. You're not attracting your ideal client
If you keep getting inquiries from people who aren’t your dream client, it may be because your brand isn't speaking their language.
Fix it: Get clear on who you're for, and build a visual brand that connects directly with that audience.
4. You're embarrassed to send people to your site
Let’s keep it real—if you hesitate to share your site or IG because it doesn’t represent you anymore, that’s your sign.
Fix it: Invest in a refresh that actually feels aligned with the woman you are today and where your business is going.
5. You’re doing the bare minimum to “get by”
If you're relying on Canva templates or copy-pasting captions just to show up, it's time for strategy—not survival.
Fix it: You deserve a brand that’s custom, intentional, and powerful. One that makes people say, “Ohhh, she’s not playing.”
Ready for your glow-up?
I help brands go from blah to booked. If you’re ready to stop playing small, let’s build something that feels like you—but elevated.
